This Terms of Service (“Agreement”) is a legal contract between Candy Tech LTD (“Company,” “we,” or “us”), the owner and operator of the ConvertMate PDF converter (“ConvertMate” or “Service”), and you, the user (“you” or “user”). By installing or otherwise using ConvertMate and its related software, extensions, and tools, you agree to abide by this Agreement, as well as our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, you are prohibited from using ConvertMate and must discontinue use immediately.
Please read this Agreement carefully and review it periodically, as we reserve the right to modify or update it at our discretion.

PURPOSE & FUNCTIONALITY
1. Overview
  ConvertMate is designed to facilitate PDF conversions, manipulations, and related functionalities, potentially including merging, splitting, compressing, or otherwise managing PDF documents. We may also offer integrations with third-party platforms or additional features to enhance the user experience.
2. Consent to Installation
  By installing or using ConvertMate, you authorize the Company to perform all necessary actions (e.g., accessing your device’s internet connection, registry modifications, or other technical processes) to deliver the Service’s functionalities.
GRANT OF LICENSE
1. Limited License
  We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ConvertMate strictly for personal or internal business purposes, subject to your full compliance with this Agreement.
2. License Restrictions
  Unless explicitly permitted under this Agreement, you agree not to:
  Modify, adapt, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble ConvertMate or any related software.
  Distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or otherwise transfer ConvertMate or any associated components to third parties.
  Use ConvertMate in any manner that violates applicable laws or infringes upon third-party rights.
  All other rights related to ConvertMate remain reserved by the Company and its licensors.
ADDITIONAL OFFERS & SERVICES
1. Optional Services & Promotions
  During the installation or usage of ConvertMate, you may encounter additional offers and services, which may include affiliate promotions, sponsored content (e.g., Google Ads), feature enhancements, or an option to set a particular search tool. These additional components aim to enrich your overall experience with the Service.
2. Acceptance
  By proceeding with the installation, selecting “Download,” or otherwise agreeing to these options, you acknowledge and accept these additional offers and services, subject to this Agreement and our Privacy Policy. You retain the freedom to decline or skip any optional component that is not essential to the core PDF conversion functionality of ConvertMate.
PROPRIETARY RIGHTS
1. Ownership
  All intellectual property rights and interests in or related to ConvertMate—including software code, trademarks, logos, interfaces, and any improvements or derivative works—remain the exclusive property of the Company and/or its licensors.
2. Protection of Rights
  You agree not to remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices. Any use of the Company’s intellectual property beyond what is expressly permitted requires prior written authorization from the Company.
RESPONSIBLE USE & USER REPRESENTATIONS
1. General Representations
  By using ConvertMate, you represent and warrant that:
  You are at least 16 years of age (or you have consulted with a parent or guardian if under 18).
  You have the legal capacity and authority to enter into this Agreement.
  Your use of ConvertMate will not violate any law, regulation, or third-party rights.
2. Prohibited Conduct
  You agree you will not: Attempt to disrupt, hack, or otherwise compromise the security or integrity of ConvertMate or associated systems.
  Utilize any automated methods (e.g., bots, crawlers) to extract data or otherwise interact with ConvertMate beyond what is humanly possible.
  Upload or convert files containing unlawful, harmful, or copyrighted content that you have no right to use.
  Send unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, spam, or chain letters through or in relation to ConvertMate.
  If you violate these rules, the Company may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your account and/or your access to ConvertMate, and you may be subject to civil or criminal liability.
USER CONTENT & FILE PROCESSING
1. Your Responsibility
  Any content you upload, convert, or process through ConvertMate remains your sole responsibility. You affirm that you have all necessary rights and permissions to use such content without infringing third-party intellectual property rights or violating any law.
2. Limited Storage & Deletion
  We may store your files temporarily during the conversion process. However, ConvertMate does not guarantee indefinite storage, and processed files or related data may be deleted automatically after a certain period. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your files.
3. No Analysis of Content
  ConvertMate does not knowingly analyze the specific content of your files beyond what is required to execute the requested PDF manipulation. We disclaim any responsibility for the legality, authenticity, or appropriateness of the files you choose to process.
UPDATES & MODIFICATIONS
1. Automatic Updates
  We may provide updates, upgrades, or patches to ConvertMate at any time without prior notice. These changes may install automatically to enhance security or functionality. By using ConvertMate, you agree to receive such updates.
2. No Obligation to Update
  The Company is not obligated to maintain or support any version of ConvertMate, nor is it required to provide updates or bug fixes.
PRIVACY & COOKIES
1. Privacy Policy
  We collect and process certain data (including personal information) in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using ConvertMate, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accept our Privacy Policy.
2. Cookies
  We may use cookies or similar technologies to enable essential site functionality and improve user experience. You have the option to manage, accept, or reject non-essential cookies at any time, although rejecting certain cookies may limit some functionality.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
1. “As Is” and “As Available”
  ConvertMate is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permissible by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind—whether express, implied, or statutory—including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
2. No Guarantee of Results
  We do not guarantee that ConvertMate will meet your specific requirements or that it will operate uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. You assume full responsibility for any risk of loss or damage resulting from your use of ConvertMate.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
1. Indirect & Consequential Damages
  To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company, its affiliates, and their respective officers, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of ConvertMate, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
2. Liability Cap
  In no event shall the Company’s total liability exceed the amount you actually paid for your use of ConvertMate (if any) or Ten U.S. Dollars (US$10), whichever is less.
TERM & TERMINATION
1. Termination by User
  You may stop using ConvertMate at any time and uninstall any associated software. Should you wish to discontinue altogether, you must remove the software from your device(s) and cease all use.
2. Termination by Company
  We may suspend or terminate your use of ConvertMate, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice or liability to you.
3. Effect of Termination
  Upon termination, the license granted to you under this Agreement will immediately expire. The Company will have no liability for any data or files that may be lost or deleted due to your cessation of ConvertMate use.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
Your violation of any term in this Agreement.
Your use or misuse of ConvertMate.
Your infringement of any third-party right (including intellectual property rights).
CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT
1. Right to Amend
  We may revise, amend, or modify this Agreement at any time. The date of the latest revision will appear at the top of this document. Any changes become effective immediately upon posting.
2. Continued Use
  Your continued use of ConvertMate following the posting of any changes to this Agreement constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must discontinue use of ConvertMate.
MISCELLANEOUS
1. Compliance with Laws
  You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances regarding your use of ConvertMate.
2. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
  This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
3. Entire Agreement
  This Agreement, including any referenced policies (such as our Privacy Policy), constitutes the complete and exclusive understanding between you and the Company regarding ConvertMate and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous written or oral communications.
4. Severability
  If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be severed, and the remainder of the Agreement will remain in full force and effect.
5. Assignment
  You may not assign or delegate this Agreement, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent. We reserve the right to assign or transfer any of our rights or obligations under this Agreement to any affiliate or successor.
6. No Waiver
  Our failure to enforce any right or provision of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision in that or any other instance.
